The major goal of department is to achieve the objectives set up by the Institute. The department aims at cultivating a community of sound professionals. The department emphasizes on developing problem solving skills, especially those required to implement solutions using the computing facilities. The educational objective of the department is to provide knowledge of modern computing system as well as sound theoretical background to meet evolving needs of students. Also the department aims at establishing strong relationship with the industry so as to bridge the gap between the academia and corporate sector. The department also ensures in bringing up qualities like leadership, teamwork, self confidence, good communication skills among its students. The overall objective of the department is to make students understand their professional as well as ethical responsibilities. To achieve this, the institute have spacious; fully air-conditioned computer labs and computer centres with latest PENTIUM branded computers (WIPRO, IBM, HCL) attached to LAN. The Computer Science & Engineering Department has the following Computer Labs: - 1. ATM Lab. 2. Data Communication Lab. 3. ES & SSLP Lab. 4. Engineering drawing and AutoCAD Lab. 5. Oracle Lab. 6. Unix / Linux Lab. 7. MAT Lab. Fundamentals of Computer Programming & Information Technology Lab. Data Structure& Programming Methodology Lab. Programming Language Lab. Object Oriented Programming Lab. Computer Network Lab. Also the department has well furnished Lecture Halls & Tutorial Halls. The faculty is well qualified & highly experienced as per requirements.

Electrical Engineering

The major goal of department is to achieve the objectives set up by the institute. The department aims at cultivating a community of sound professionals. The institute is having spacious Laboratories equipped with all latest equipment required as per the syllabus of Punjab Technical University. The instructional sheets for each experiment are displayed in the laboratories to facilitate students with the procedure to be followed for the conduct of experiments. The department is committed to ensure life long learning attitude among its students. The Department aims at improving the academic excellence and the overall personality of the students to face the highly competitive and professional scenario of the world. The Department Comprises of the following Labs such as:- 1. Analog Communication Lab. 2. Analog electronics Lab. 3. Digital Communication Lab. 4. Digital Electronics Lab. 5. Hostel

There are separate hostels for girls & boys offering a range of facilities. The boy's hostel is well furnished with all modern facilities such as attached bathrooms, coolers and geysers and there is a provision of generators in case of failure of electricity. Similarly, there is a separate hostel arrangement for the girls in the city. The inmates of the hostel play indoor games and enjoy reading newspapers and magazines during spare time. Experienced wardens ensure the congenial atmosphere and peaceful environment through efficient management of the hostel affairs. Delicious & nutritious food is cooked inside modern and cable TV available in each MESS, high speed Wi-fi internet access etc. ,. to make their stay comfortable and homely.
